Is it a Cuckoo?

I heard before you should report when you see a Cuckoo as there very rare, i couldn’t say where maybe someone else heard this or knows who you report it to.

I think it’s more that they are declining in numbers rather
than being very rare. If you know a map reference it is worth
adding it to the Bird Atlas survey at http://www.bto.org/birdatlas/index.htmThanks Noel how does one tell it is a male.. is there some distinguishing feature or something to look for ?
It rattles when you shake it :lol: …..no seriously, the sexes are quite similar but I think the barring on the male is more pronounced:wink:
