Hi
My name is Tony and I live on the Isle Of Man, I am taking a holiday in Ireland during the dates shown, I am particularly interested in black & white landscape photography and would welcome any advise re. any interesting locations on the West coast (Donegal to Galway) also any exhibitions or camera fairs or good hunting grounds for collectible photo equipment, any help would be much appreciated :) :) :)Broadford1ParticipantHead to Galway fast – Volvo Ocean Race pulling in there from today for the next two weeks.
You should see plenty of opportunities there.
You should then head out towards Connemara and Clifton fabulous landscape opportunities along the way.
Enjoy.vanannanMemberaoluainParticipantHi Tony,
Welcome to the site.
As Broadford1 says, galway is a good place to start as the ocean race has stopped overhttps://www.photographyireland.net/viewtopic.php?t=29036
As regards Camera shops there are 3 in Galway but really only
specialise in consumable stuff and dont have any interesting second hand gear at all.For landscapes you have to travel out to connemara and really anywhere along the west
coast.Enjoy,
Alan
