3 shots im putting up for some constructive C&C I think myself there a little over processed but I was looking for the dramatic type of shot, all taken on the same trip and place. The 3rd one is a little over sharpened……….

Joe 3 nice images,
#1 is very striking and very simple. I like the processing but that flare I think
towards the top is taking from it.#2 is another strong image but the trees to the right are lost with the dark sky
behind.#3 is nice but the processing is a bit OTT. I dont like the yello/green tint in the
clouds maybe bring that back a bit.my fav would be #2 i think with #2 a very close second.

Really like the vibrancy of the top one Joe. I’m with Alan on the flare, but apart from that an interesting image. Your processing gives it an tropical feel. Is this just grass?
I think the second one would work better as an ‘almost square crop’ (10×12?) removing the top few inches. Nice clouds.
The third one doesn’t really draw me in at all.

I really like #1. It’s simple. There is a little splash of colour (flare maybe) in the
top rhs on my screen which could be got rid of.#2 is nice too but in my opinion there is too much bare sky at the
top.The cloud formation in #3 is nice but the colours on my screen look
a little odd.
The dark area in the lower LHS dosen’t help either.Good efforts.

I love the first one really nice. I’d also agree with John crop of the second one, I’d crop it just above the highest white cloud. I presume you’ve used the Dodge n’ Burn tool on the second. There’s a pretty dark area just to the right of the last tree on the RHS.
I’d also agree about the dark bottom RH corner in the 3rd shot. I’m sure a little TLC with Levels and/or Dodge n’ Burn will sort that.
