Could get interesting in a few months. Global warming will be less of
an issue when the sustainability of a 6bn global population is tested
by a good old fashioned flu virus.

You’re just not going to be happy until the planet is decimated.
Or, well, at least half of it.

    I believe you Pete-
remember that when you post your ‘I told you so’ thread…

Joseph, as i’m sure you are aware, to decimate a population involves killing one in ten.

I’m sure PTB has greater ambitions than that where the oink flu is concerned.

    Nah. 1 in 10 will do – that’s 600 million plus for gawd’s sake.

And there’s still C. diff, VRSA, MRSA, XDR-TB and (on this morning’s news)
a new strain of malaria plasmodium which is resistant to the strongest drugs
    available.

Well they can make monkeys glow green so I’m sure farts can be coloured. Any colour in mind Mick? Wouldn’t it be fun though…it’ll give “Britains got Talent” a whole new level of interest (above zero). And the goalies in penalty shoot-outs…where would it end?
