I love the composition in this. There are strong sweeping shapes all over the place. The wall, the field, the river, the farmtracks all seem to work very well together and help sweep my eye from left to right. Perhaps just a slight crop off the left to remove that sign post.

My main concern is that reflection off the water. It is far brighter than the sky above it and stands out as being over processed. Did you use a grad filter or was this HDR?

    This looks better to me.

However, I think the overall brightness of the rest of the scene is better in the original. The rapeseed in the original does seem to be more intense. Is it worth having one more try to correct for the water while leaving the rest of the scene in its original state?

Really nice shot and good feedback from Andy
The toning down of the water really helps bring out the details and the folds of the water

I love this shot too. It’s busy, not too busy, has a nice range of colours and tones. I really like the composition too, it’s great the way the river leads the eye into the shot. Very good.

Of the three I’d go for the 3rd one.

Sinead, I prefer the first as the overall tone in the 2nd is too dark. You could try dodging just the river. If you don’t have a circular polariser, it might be an idea to use one instead of a graduated filter.
