    Not happy with this shot to be honest the bird on the right is a bit soft, the light was terrible. I will be revisiting again soon.

    Brilliant just to see them, very exciting to think they are settling here,
    thought I heard them in Kilmacurragh last year but have never been
    lucky enough to see one.

    Love the pose of the bird poking its head out of the hole. As said already, pity about the bright sky – next time!

    We’ve always had the odd visitor, but they seem to have arrived in numbers in the last 2 years.

    Thanks, I got the composition that i had planned but i just couldn’t get the DOF due to poor light. Ah well, next time :)

    I have heard they are on the east coast but not near me sadly :( .They are great pictures though shows their character whereabouts did you see them. Birdwatch ireland would be interested to know where they are
