    An Oystercatcher sitting on its nest, will return and keep an eye on it to see if
    it is successful, was a good distance from me so had to crop in quite a lot to even
    see it so quality is not great.

    Looks a little overexposed but then again if it was any less you’d probably have lost details in the black feathers. Like the way the bill looks translucent. Worth going back with less harsh light. Reckon I know where you took this and the light is lovely there between about 7 and 9 pm (ish) down when the sun’s setting (on a rare clear night!).

    I recognise this nest too :) , try get it in less harsh light as Goosebanker suggested.

    Thanks for the comments :) I will go back I am down there fairly regularly anyway,
    agree it is over exposed but the eye just disappeared so thought it best to brighten.
