Hey everyone, I’m a new photographer and was hoping for some C+C on some recent photos to help me improve. Thanks to everyone in advance and I hope you enjoy what you see!
These are interesting statues you have taken, and the odd angles and unusual processing make it more intriguing.
As a set I think you should try to stick to consistent processing and here perhaps consistent size ratios.
Being close-up of statues a lot of what is interesting is the work of the sculpture so it is hard to give C&C. But..
I would give #1 a bit more room at the top, avoid the chop of the top of the statue.
And #3 a bit more room at the back, just so the main subject is framed comfortably as the eye can get distracted by the edge.
#2 I’m not sure about, it can be good to get good separation of the subject and the background, it might be better without the distracting wooden thingy.
These are unconventional photos to start on, that’s just a few thoughts, I may be off the mark.
