Pier at Gyles Quay, Dundalk – long exposure mono

  A 3 min exposure as the light was fading on the pier at Gyles Quay in Riverstown in Co Louth. Converted to mono.

  Hi Gary, like the amazing tones in the water and detail in the foreground. Not a big fan of the top of the image. It doesn’t follow the great nuances of the foreground. Do you have other compostions of this location? Cheers Madeleine

  Cheers Madeleine :) I have a few others but have to get round to processing them. i know what you mean about the top though.

  Really like this, very simple but it works well sa far as I’m concerned anyway…If the two rails in the foreground weren’t there I think it would be even better…

  Really like this sort of stuff. I’d follow through further on Dars suggestion and I’d be tempted to remove all surface mounted additions (in PS, not reality) just to give it an extreme minimalist display.
