Duncannon Fort Military reinactment

Hi Brian,
Judging by some of the images posted here this seemed
like an interesting event.You have produced a nice set of images here.
#1 is a nice composition and I like the tone.
Unfortunately, due to the high sun, the officers cap has cast
his face in shadow.
Not a lot you could have done about that really except maybe lighten
the face a bit in post processing.#2 looks a little odd.
Looks a little like it might have been actually taken during WW2.
Looks a little soft and the angle looks strange.
The 2 triangular shapes at either side of the frame are distracting and adding
nothing to the image.
The soldier on the left is squashed into the frame with some of his helmet missing
and his left foot tight against the bottom of the frame.
Of course you may have meant the shot to look like this and it is your intention
that is important.#3 is an interesting image with the reaction of the soldiers to the blast.
Did you try a B/W conversion on this?Again these comments are just one opinion.

I used to be in the group doing demo’s. Alas time cannot be spread so thin to enjoy all the hobbies lol.
