The springs which hold it in balance, the axles that carry the burden and the magestic space that surrounds them. They shouted in the dark, asking for answers. No one could hear them? Were they lost?

Since the skies are crowded with clouds once again, I brought some sunshine in the darkroom, and tried the solarization on my photogramms… this is the last one I will post today, I promise.

Oh, and don’t all rush out to leave comments on my images now! Really, it’s not all that important.

Well done! Solarization is a tricky bugger of a thing to get right, this looks to have worked reasonably well,
(apart from the blacks, which are not quite black) did you know Man Ray discovered it by accident?

Have you tried making paper negs with these? Might work nicely with these randomwayograms…

Sunshine in the darkroom? Oh dear…

No, I wasn’t experimenting, I just forgot that I put up a pan with oil to fry the onions, but then I got an idea for this picture, and then I remembered that I had the oil on the cooker, and then I forgot that darkroom is dark, outside is light, and then I opened the door and realized that outside is light… so it became an experiment… I am a copy cat, yes.

That’s a dangerous time for artistic inspiration, you could have burned the onions!! By the way, do you think it was the onions that triggered the inspiration?
I know they are beneficial to the circulatory system, but, if they enhance artistic thought process, I’d be tempted to eat more of them…

No, the onions didn’t get burnt, but I managed to fill the kitchen with smoke.

What’s this obsession with drinking and eating to be inspired? They have nothing to do with creativity.

If you want to take good pictures, eat some fried squid… that will do the trick ;)
