Amateur Team up in Kells or Navan

Hey so you are a amateur like me who sleeps drinks and thinks photography of all kinds.
But one thing holding you back is experience….Me too.
I suggest we team up and use each other as a muse(model) and share ideas.
I have been asked to photograph a low budget wedding in september ( panic )
so for me thats my goal to practice around churches at different lighting for practice.
But still want to do other types of photography anyway.
Unfortunatly i dont have my own car so its the Bus for me and i dont mind that at all
But would prefer to be around kells and navan or even dublin. If you are in kells or navan and have others who would be interested great more the better.
Oh and be prepared mentaly if dressing up is needed by others in the group for shoots (you have been warned LOL)
ALSO NO NUDE PHOTOGRAPHY AS THIS TEAM UP IS OPEN TO ALL AGES.
5faytheParticipantHi Davidk,
Welcome to Photography Ireland.
There is quite a bit of information available here either by posing
a question or searching back through previous threads. You might consider joining a local camera club or photography
organisation if there is one in your area. Most clubs have members with various interests who who would be willing
to help out. There is a club in Navan. http://www.navancameraclub.net/
Most clubs wind down their activities during the summer months (not their
photography) but you could contact them for information. The best of luck with your photography and I hope you enjoy being a
member here.John.
thephotoguyMemberHey thanks for the info im already a member of many photography websites and magazines and podcasts book buying etc
so every day i have various resources to hand.
With that said the navan camera club is close but as far as i know there is a joining fee(a small sum)
but this is not what im after, id prefer a small group or just another person to team up with.
As you can imagine a club in a vast area like Meath there will be alot of people there and this is where you could be left out
But with a smaller group the focus (no pun) on learning would be stronger. Its just like going to a photographers workshop and finding so many people at the event it can get a bit confuseing but you cant
have special attention. This is my reason for this post.

He is one of the sponsors of this site.thephotoguyMember
