Waterford Mountains and Dungarvan Panoramas

    Hi All

I’ve seen lots of brilliant panoramas here in the last couple of months so wanted to give it a go. These are my first proper attempt really. Sorry if they are too wide but it’s a waste of time posting any smaller for them, the Dungarvan one is probably still way too small. All C+C apreciated.

I was coming back from a game we had in Waterford and saw a sign for Comeragh drive so I headed off and got this shot parked on the side of the windy road up there.

Passing by Dungarvan I got this, it’s been done a million times before but wanted to try panorama’s so I did it again!

I think you have done the stitching really well, especially given the strong contrast. However, I think the clouds in #1 are a bit artificial, you have them spot on in #2.

I agree with the previous poster, no 2 is spot on.

There is too much blown out sky in no 1, I just tried a quick crop on it where I removed almost all the sky and it looks a lot better, in my opinion anyway.

    Thanks for the comments guys…..

I was going to crop out the sky in number 1 as well but compared the two of them and decided to leave it in…I like the effect it has, the way it gived the rays a really strong “source point” as such…Its just a personal thing not based on anything in particular, but technically speaking ye are probably right…
