Top Quality A4 printer

I am looking at getting a top quality A4 printer for photo purposes. I can’t afford nor fit an A3 printer and most of what I would be printing would be A4 anyway. I am looking for recommendations from people.
I do a lot of Mono portraits so it would have to be good a B&W printing too. I don’t mind spending a bit of money on it but it has to produce quality results.
Any ideas out there ?
Epson have just brought out a new one, now I think it is A3 but doesn’t look overly big,
it takes 9 inks, so the black and white prints should look good, I think it has 3 blacks,
Not cheap at €500 but maybe they will do an A4 version soon?Just wondering if the expense of a printer + inks are worth it though especially for
A4, would it not be cheaper to find a good printshop?Did you ever find a quality a4 printer ? i am also in the market for one…..
Strictly photos onlyNever did. I continue to use Steve Crozier to do my printing. Don’t have the cash now but would still be interested in recommendations for a quality A4 printer especially for mono stuff
