You’re probably on the wrong site if you’re looking for wedding business as this site is
full of photographers and not people looking for photographers :)Guess you can’t blame someone for trying – but if you seriously expect someone take a chance on a student you’re going to need a link to some work. Do you have a portfolio / website?
Also, I’d be careful about assuming it’s OK to work alongside the professional photographer. I can only imagine in most cases the hired photog would not agree to do it. I know I wouldn’t.

Thanks I’ll move it somewhere else, I’m not looking to be the main and only photographer of the wedding, I just want the couple to let me take some shots so I can practice a little bit I was asked to take photos at this wedding at the end of the year and I want to have a bit of experience before I do that!

We offer a half day Wedding Photography Course for Beginners that includes shooting a bride, groom, father of bride, flower girl along with a limo and a real church. The course is designed to give you practical experience in a safe environment without the consequences of bad shots at a real wedding.
