hi, just curious on peoples thoughts on this….

    thanks!

    .

Honestly I love your work, as you most likely know, I’m not mad on this one though. It has leading lines though which always make a photo interesting, i.e. lines in the carpet leading to the subject, I think it may be the colouring though, maybe if it was toned down slightly it might have greater impact.

    Thanks for the comment Rachel.

I’m thinking that the amount of blue & yellow may be too even as well. – Maybe I’ll crop out some of the carpet & tone it down at the same time.

    thanks again.

    Hi Eric,

The yellow is a lovely colour but I think it dominates
the image and attracts a lot of attention.

The bride, who I assume is your main subject, may be
a bit overshadowed by all the colour around her.

Maybe a mono conversion would do the trick.
Might be worth a shot anyway.

    It’s a nice composition I think.

    Cheers,

    John.

Looking at it again I would crop maybe to the right 3/4’s so loosing some of the bottom and left and maybe mess with the curves a bit to get a discoloured aged affect, loosing the yellow toning and bringing an blue tint to it which would give it a slightly aged effect.

i am brutal at explaining things, I have no technical terms at all but I’m sure you get what I’m saying and as 5faythe says it is a nice composition and definitely not a binner, in fact with the right pp I reckon it will be a wow shot.
