Beautiful light, strong composition, calm, serene, evocative…you get my drift?
Worthy of any wall!
Cheers
Dee & Ron
shutterbugParticipantThats beautiful, what kind soul put those rocks in such an attractive
lay just waiting for the right light and a bloke with a camera? :)steelydanParticipantNice simple composition, the only distracting thing for me is the smoke trail reflected form some airplane, in the smaller rocks to the left.
I think if that was cloned out,it would make an overall better image.mgstParticipant5faytheParticipantMany thanks to Dee, Ron, Jenny, John and Mick for
taking the time to reply and your comments are
really appreciated.John I thought there were just wispy clouds in the sky and you
can see a bit of these in the top RHS of the image. But you could be right as you know we do get a lot of aircraft
flying overhead in this area.I will have a go at your suggested edit when I get a chance.
Thanks,
John.
MickSParticipantThis is a beautiful photograph, nice and simple, beautiful colours, perfect lighting and altogether very pleasing on the eye. Well done.
GenieParticipantVery nice light John, beautiful and simple composition. Really like this.
Janine
kenhParticipantJohn, everything is great about this – composition and an atmosphere of peace are uppermost!
SeaviewParticipantVery nice shot John, I would agree with John regarding cloning the smoke trail. I think it would improve an already great shot.
Dave.

sirvadMembercongrats on a class photo. it would be well worth the time to get rid of those cloud/smoke trail. it would turn it into a winner :)
