Ring Flash

  Hi All,

  looking to buy a ring flash on the cheap, I have seen these on warehouse express, has anyone used one or had and experience good or bad?

  DRF14 C (Canon) Marumi Ring Flash

  Appreciate it if anyone could let me know.

  what you want to use it for, the one your looking at is kinda designed for macro work? that what your looking for

  Hi Steve,

  I want to use if for Macro, I have a 60mm Macro lens and have either being using natural daylight or my 480 ex flash.
  Not getting the quality of shots I would like, this ring flash is on at around £110 stg, the canon is alot more expensive, I know the Canon has a lot more features, but as you know you have to learn to walk before you learn to fly….

  Have you come across this model?

  Have a look at the orbis ring flash adaptor. I just got one and it seems to be the business so far.

  These Ringflash adaptors are great for Macro AND Portraits, the just pop onto most Canon or Nikon Flash guns. Even better news is that we (Barker Photographic) have just reduced the price of them for the second time this year to €169 inc VAT.
