Gannet Landing – C&C Please

  Hi all, would love some C&C on this. There’s something about it that I like but I’m not sure about it at the same time. I think the OOF Rock and Bird in the foreground might be too distracting but I’m not sure. Would love your opinions on this, good and bad.

  I got the picture but it took a long time to load.

  I think you are right, the foreground is distracting. Before I read your text I was not sure if it was foreground or background. The pose of the bird is fantastic, you have got that real “landing” moment.

  Hi Michael,

  As mentioned already the pose of the bird is really good but
  that block of oof background is really a major distraction.

  I think that if the right wing had been sharply in focus the effect
  of the background may have been lessened.

  Thanks Aedan and John, as I suspected the foreground is very distracting. Oh well, you live and learn. It was late last night and I wasn’t sure if I liked it, I guess I was just delerious from the lack of sleep. :p
