Hello to all out there!

Hi all, I have probably done things back to front. Started posting comments & a project before introducing myself.. how rude

Anyway, Photography appealed to me from a young age & has become one of my passions. I remember as a child, my father having a keen eye & interest in photography. As a kid I used my Kodak ‘Instamatic’ 77x to capture anything that moved & tried to develop an ‘eye’ for what worked & what did not.

I embraced the move to digital photography about 7 years ago & being in IT, got familiar quickly with computer post processing. I try not to ‘over’ process but am not afraid of post processing images to enhance them, as long as the image is not altered. Post processing in this digital age is just another tool to portray to others exactly what was in my mind’s eye when I pushed that shutter.

Of course I have lots to learn & look forward to using & abusing this forum to help me create better photos

I have to say the standard I have seen on here so far is very high so hope i can keep up!

    Thanks,
    Fiacre

Hi Fiacre. Welcome to the site. You needn’t worry, your photos are “up there” with the best I’ve seen on this site and that is some acomplishment when you consider the quality of the photos from the other lads. Well done.
