  agree with des – rock seems too plonked there in the middle for no reason.

  really like the rest though

  I like it lots, but I too would bin the rock, detracts for me.

  illumination in the foreground is a distraction…. rest is great.
  Can you share your settings…. would like to try night shooting.

  Thanks guys and I tend to agree on all comments ….not a keeper. Adrian typically I take those shots F4, ISO approx 1000, speed 25secs but I note trailing on the stars so this must be 30+ secs. Focus on forground for foreground shot (Lit with torch) and focus on infinity for backgroun/sky shot.
  There are actually a lot of small fish in the foreground , hence the attempt to capture but this one didnt work :-)

  I don’t know RAS, I quite like it. When I first saw it I didn’t, and then I read the comments and whilst I agreed with them, once I scrolled back up to look at it again it kinda grew on me. Its very different but I can see this being a book cover or something like that. Maybe a Pink Floyd album cover ?
