Hmmmmmmm
This looks upside down!
It is certainly interesting, I think at a larger
poster printed size there would be plenty
of texture and Jungle like things to try
and figure out.jessthespringerParticipantAlessiaParticipantDakyParticipantRobMemberThanks for the comments all…
Alan, I can assure you that this one is the right way up. I was there, remember?
And I was the right way up. As you correctly supposed, scale is important here,
a lot of detail is lost at this resolution and it looks quite dark when the important
lit areas cover the smaller percentage of the entire frame. I’ll be printing this one
about a metre wide with a space in mind for it…Yes Sinead, slobber it is, and rain and mud and the tracks of Bailey’s paws scraping
through. The shot is of the glass in my patio doors, 250mm Zuiko Auto-T at f/2,
so everything outside is thrown completely out of focus. The colour and toning is
reflected from the shed in the garden, absolutely no colour adjustments…Alessia, the dog is currently asleep at my feet, happy at last to be indoors…
Daky, I’m sure you’re not alone. Not every picture will appeal to everyone, and some
won’t appeal to anyone. I do appreciate you taking the time to comment though…MartinParticipantI like this one allot. Just like the randomness of it. Like the colour of it too
Id be happy to have this in my print box
M
jessthespringerParticipantI almost guessed the car window.
I think this is great Rob, can totally relate to it. Life. With a dog.
Print it, for sure.I’d be happy with it too.
RobMemberGlad you like it Martin. I’ll run you off an A4 print of it if you like and drop
it over sometime…Thanks again Sinead. I’d never manage the car window with this lens though,
need at least a metre and half between the front element and your subject
with that beast…jb7ParticipantVery talented household you’ve got there Rob-
now, if only you had some monkeys, and a typewriter…Without the clue, it might have taken a long time to work it out-
Perhaps you can leave some watercolours lying about,
maybe you could come up with some action paintings…Pretty soon you could have a load of Pollocks to choose from-
I like the tonality in this, and the composition-
well spotted…j
