Northern IrelandAs usual, do not believe everything you read or hear in the news about these riots. I spent 6hrs in this last night, and a lot of what I saw is the complete opposite of what the news is saying.

Am a bit lost on the point you are making about the reality being different to the reports?
The one I heard was that there had been rioting in the Ardoyne for the third night in succession.
Your pics show people throwing missiles and pbombs at the PSNI, with the results in flames and
lines of police in riot gear? Seems to be consistant with you pics.
[/img]The rioting isn’t questionable, but the details around it are.
The publicised story is that this is all being carried out by non local kids who are bussed in, and this is simply not true from my observations last night.
It was local adults who hit me with bricks, abused me verbally and interrogated me with the intention of removing my camera gear. Only for the luck of jebus another local man interjected and saved myself and a few other media from a nasty conclusion.

Was tempted to join you last night, but Ugly Betty and a bottle of wine kept me indoors. Mind you, I would have known half the rioters :-)

Was exciting – I hardly slept at all afterwards. Was still pumped on the adrenalin! lol
Have had too many stolen to reduce it any further. It’s well reduced now on what it was a yr ago lol
