Very well caught….and just as he is entering the frame. Do you know who the rider is? I thought this was one of the nicer jerseys on the tour.
The cyclist is a lean machine – look at that arm, there is nothing on it……can’t be natural to get your body into that shape…..
Seen this rider on the tour, was a great three weeks in front of the telly. Might be Menchov or Astralova

DeeEuskaltel featured well at this years Tour with the inclusion of the aforementioned Astorloza at the front and Menchov at the back and on the ground and Txurruka on most days in the hills!
It’s funny how cycling has evolved and especially the points of conversation. Years back you had BIG guys like Guido Bontempi who couldn’t climb hills for s**t but he was like a train on the flat. Weight wasn’t an issue – you were who you were and as long as you are healthy it didn’t matter. This year it was all about weight – “Wiggins is doing so much better since he lost 1.5Kg”, etc. It’s extreme now at this stage and they look unwell.
As for the image – nice example of panning and you got the key element of the riders face in shot…it even looks like he’s breathing fire. It’s a pity there wasn’t more if him in it and the Orbea bike.

I can’t remember his name but it was the Spanish rider that won the round finishing in burge st morris that day before sarcozy (spelling sorry) started the next round from the same town!
pic was takin just a couple of meters before he crossed the line!!
