Lurgan Park Rally 2009

Few photos from the 2009 Lurgan Park Rally held yesterday. Was a cracking day out as always, and after a brief shower of rain the sun came out to play. Seems to be about 1/5 spectators are sporting D-SLR’s these days so I’m sure a few of those will be PI users? ;)
The last time I was at Lurgan Park I ended up with a whole load of really sharp photos taken at high shutter speeds, but they lacked any real impact and as usual had a very stationary feel about them. Spent most of yesterday shooting at around 1/60 in the hope of getting some nice panned shots. As a result the amount of keepers were pretty low, but these were a few I quite liked. Should have more up on my Flickr during the week, thanks for looking :)

Who won that rally suspectmonkey.Thanks Tom. Kenny McKinstry won his 11th Lurgan Park yesterday, although I’m not sure what happened Kevin Lynch who wasn’t competing, was a pity not to see those two fighting it out.

Yes that would have been a good tussle between them.
As sure Kenny knows the park like the back of his hand.
