This is good. I like the river flowing diagonally across the frame. And there’s a nice bit of colour in the water itself. It is perhaps just a tad dark in some areas but good overall.
darrParticipantb318ispParticipantwirepicParticipantWhy does the bulletin board show me posting at 4.12am? I can assure everyone that at this stage I was oblivious to exposure, composition, lighting, focus and all other things that go into making a good photo. Indeed it would seem to be a bit premature to be posting critique of the photo before it has been posted!!

5faytheParticipantHi darr,
Welcome to the site and well done with this
nice image for your first post. This is a very enjoyable and educating site to be
a member of and now that members are able
to critique photos before they are posted it
should prove invaluable. :?We are currently working on a way of critiqueing
photographs before they are even taken.
This would save a lot of bother because members
can cancel taking any photos that get a bad review. :)I’m off now to check what type of comments the photo
I am going to post tomorrow has got.Good luck.
John.
RobMemberSorry for laughing, but it did give me a bit of chuckle…
Still, you posted your image for critique, so it’s only fair that I say
something about that…Composition and colour do look pretty good, though you’ve posted
a rather small version here and it isn’t really possible to see any
detail. At this resolution it does look slightly overprocessed, but that
may be just the compression. It might be better next time you’re posting
to keep to the standard 800 pixels wide for better viewing…darrParticipantHey all thanks for the info! Any comments on my next post before I stick it up!? :D
