Help!! I’m considering buying a long(ish) 2.8 zoom lens for my Nikon. I wish I could afford to buy the Nikkor 70-200, buy I just can’t. I’ve seen a used Sigma 70-210 f/2.8. Has anybody got any experience using one of these? I’ve read mixed reviews. Also does anyone know when these were discontinued (trying to determine age of the lens. Thanks
This lense was replaced by 70-200/2.8 HSM. So far there is second revision of 70-200 for more than a year now.
I’ve seen that advert on adverts.ie and I dont believe to item description. This lens is a lot older than 17 months. 17 years I would believe (production started in 1990’s).
Forget about it. It is reasonably sharp stopped to f/4 (at least). AF is slow.
