    Hi Jonny288,

    Me again. :?

This is a nice location with potential for some good shots.

First of all the sky really lets these images down.

There is a little detail in the sky in #1 but the foreground is quite dark.
There is no detail in the sky in #2 & #3 but the forground is exposed better.

It’s the classic problem of taking a photograph of a scene with a very bright sky
    and much darker foreground.

It is possible to take 2 shots.
One exposed for the sky and one for the foreground.
Then combine the images in software.
You would really need to have your camera on a tripod for this.

If it were possible you could also call back when the foreground is lit better and
the sky is not so much brighter.

    Cheers.

    John.

John has given some good tips and highlighted some areas there Jonny.
They were difficult ones to expose properly as you were shooting upwards
into the bright sky. Sometimes you just arrive at a location at the wrong
time of day which doesnt help either.

Heads up, invest in this book, its a great read and will certainly help . . .
