I was asked to photograph a music festival 2 weeks ago. Heres a shot that stood out to me.

Hi Rob,
You have captured a nice expressive portrait there.
There is quite a bit of what to me looks like wasted space
at the top of the image.
I would crop down near the top of the head.The face looks a little soft to me but I’m not always right on focussing. :)
I like it for all that.

The face is a tad soft…but sharp enough that im happy with it.he caught me off gaurd when he did this – he came right up in my face as i was snapping the other guitar player.
The crop you suggested i think works better too.

I think that’s better.
I’m going to be cheeky and suggest even cropping closer
to the cap.
Just a small bit of space above the cap, the singer fills the frame and
gets all the viewers attention. :?Bingo.
