Backpack for Canon 70-200mm f2.8L IS USM

Can anyone tell me which bag I should purchase to carry my 70-200mm f2.8L IS USM lens and also where to purchase it. I am about to purchase this lens and a 24-70mm f2.8L as well. I would imagine that I will have the 24-70mm on my camera most of the time.

I’ve just ordered this one from ebay – should be here any day. I liked how it was small and compact yet holds a long lens inside. I can let you know how it pans out when I try it out. It was a good price £24 +P&P. You can watch a video demo to see the internal layout

Lainey – Thanks a million. I watched the video and the bag seems to be exactly what I am looking for. The price is great as well. Let me know what you think when your bag arrives.
    Thanks again,

Alice just wanted to update you on the bag I bought from ebay. Unfortunately it never arrived (2 and half weeks ago now since ordered). I complained and the seller was less than helpful. He eventually gave me a refund when I escalated the complaint via paypal. However he did not refund my postage. He sent me an email threatening that he had proof of postage so he was going to inform the local police of theft etc. I just wanted to update as I it’s only fair since I had recommended him last week. I’ve since ordered another bag from a local distributor on ebay -with registered post and insurance.

If you complain to paypal you should get all your money back, postage included.

Since he’s obviously not nice you can keep his refund, the package when it arrives and the refund.

Lainey – I am really sorry that you had a bad encounter with the seller of the bags on ebay. Thank you very much for taking the time to alert myself and others as well. The video looked so genuine and I was seriously thinking of going ahead and buying a bag. TG – I did’nt.
I may go ahead and buy a Lowepro mini treker from some reliable source.

I have no doubt that it was sent – just it could have been stolen from the post office. After all it’s been happening in Dublin Airport recently. It may turn up still and if so i will return it -minus the postage. In the meatime I found an Irish supplier. If you would like the link send me a pm. :D

Just updating to say my new camera bag arrived today from Digitech on ebay – it’s a great waterproof bag which holds my 5D and around 6 lenses and flash unit. It also has an internal removable pod which can be used for storing equipment safely in other luggage. All for €55 inc delivery. No sign of the original bag still.

Thats great Lainey – at least you are sorted now. My monopod came from 7 Day shop but took about 3 weeks from ordering date, to get to me
    Thanks

I think there have been recent postal disputes in the UK – they caused a backlog and could have held it up.

Yep that’s what the postal office told me – it took almost a month to arrive.

At least you are sorted now Lainey – I received a backpack from 7day shop today. It is nice and tidy with good storage. I will not carry all of my gear around at any one time but will pick and choose as the lenses are extremely heavy.
