Mamiya RZ67 and Nikon 17-55DX 2.8
-
CormacParticipant
Hi
I started building a medium format kit earlier in the summer, but in reality I don’t have the time to indulge in it or the money to complete it.
So, in order to get a decent Nikon 80-200 I need to change things around a bit.
For sale is the following:Mamiya RZ67 Pro body with 220 film back and 2 waist level finders: €350
Nikon 17-55AFS f2.8DX: €700The 17-55 was bought used in Berminghams last November.
Everything is in excellent condition, perfect glass in lens and the Mamiya is superb – a photographer who works for me reckons it was a studio spare and rarely used.
I’m open to reasonable offers, or trades, if anyone is trying to move a Nikon 80-200 f2.8.
I’ll try and get some images up if anyone is interested.
Thanks,
CormacbingbongbiddleyParticipantHi,
You might already be aware but Berminhams currently have and second hand 80-200 in stock. It’s not AS-F though. I think the HSM Sigma 70-200 would be worth a look too, although personally I’d save the extra few hundred for the VR Nikon version fo’ shizzle.
Good luck with your sales.
CormacParticipantI did see that lens in Berminghams alright, unfortunately he’s not too keen on taking the medium format gear from me so I’m hoping to find a buyer.
Thanks for the pointer.

piusno1MemberWhat lens comes with the Mamiya RZ67 Pro body and do you have a 120 back and will it accept a digital back.
CormacParticipantHi,
I don’t have a lens with the camera, I had just started putting the kit together but I really don’t have the time or the money for it.
There is just the 220 film back, but there are endless 120 backs available online.
Let me look into the possibility of using a digital back – I am almost certain that you can use one with an adapter. Thanks,
CormacCormacParticipantJust a quick answer to piusno1 – there are a number of digital backs that will work perfectly with the Mamiya RZ67, all that is needed is an adapter to fit them.
Leaf seems to be a popular brand of digital back. Thanks,
Cormac
