Never set up background and took photos of objects so this is my first attemp. Natural lighting as I have not yet mastered the art of the lighting. C&C welcome
I like the second shot you’ve taken there. The lighting looks nice and even, sometimes you just can’t beat nice natural window light so I wouldn’t be too worried not having any artificial lighting at your disposal yet :) I like the highlight in the lighting along the right hand side of the bottle, and the shadow cast to the left of it with a nice bluish tint around the base. The blue and yellow really work well together, nice bold colours that compliment perfectly. Only thing I’d say is that its a pity the flower wasnt a bit bigger, just looks a wee tad lost in the bottle IMO, but I think you’ve got a great shot for a first attempt.
Hi Haleycopter. I also like the second shot. I think #1 is too far over to the side and with only some of the bottle included, I don’t think this works. I agree with suspectmonkey that the flower is a little small, but it still looks nice. I think the highlight in the bottle might be a bit long and maybe a smaller window might work better. The lighting is lovely too, but I think if you used a reflecter of some type, you might be able to lessen the shadow, as I find this a little distracting. The blue and yellow (Tipp GAA colours  ) work well together. I think you have done really well here. Keep it up.
