Hi Alan,
I like this a lot, good shot.
I find myself looking behind him to see where all the shoppers are!! I like the colours and depth of field, well done.
Best regards,
John
wirepicParticipantGreat shot. I had the same thoughts as John. It works really well for me because of the complete lack of anyone else in the shot. I would think it’s nearly impossible to get a shot like this.
Alan RossiterParticipantExcellent shot Alan. The isolation really gives the image a story.
One exposure?
Alan
kenhParticipantI do agree that the emptiness is appealing, but it’s achieved, to some extent, at the expense of guy’s
expression.
With a tighter crop we can see the full extent of his passion.
Overall a lovely shot!DeeboParticipantGreat shot Alan.
As already noted, the lack of people makes this shot. Nice one
DeedeboyParticipantlousyParticipant5faytheParticipantHi Alan,
An interesting image no doubt.
The image data suggests he is a very optomistic busker to
be setting himself up on a Sunday morning in the present
climate. :)Of course leaving aside the time and day it could be a comment
on the state of play for retailers at the moment.Either way the music plays on.
Nice one.
John.
davedunneParticipantReal nice shot – the converging lines of the street really make the busker stand out.

That’s what it is! I was thinking – the DOF isn’t that shallow but yet he’s isolated. It’s almost like a zoom effect. Very effective.

That’s it!!!!!!!
alancotterParticipantThanks for the feedback guys, very much appreciated..
Alan (irishwonkafan)
Yeah, this is one exposure…Ken,
I took 3/4 shots in total, some with a little tighter crops, i didn’t like the tighter cropped shots.. That expression was a once off, well, while i was hanging around anyway. Thanks again guys.
