  I have to admire the presentation, bordering etc.

  The image itself would be better viewed in a larger format in my view, to see better detail on the abbey. Also the foreground very dark.

  I concur with Liam.
  I think to see this bigger or in print would show more of the details and the fine brickwork. Quick shadows n highlights 10-15% would life this or simply dodge in the foreground to bring back some details

  Thanks for the feedback guys. Here’s another try at processing. I’ve added a vignette, some film grain and a gradient map to lighten the foreground and darken the sky. I’ve left the bare image for a closer look.

  

  I was also thinking of a crop to remove the buildings on the right and possibly clone out the poles on the left (anybody think it’s worth the effort?).

  Second one works better for me with the brightened foreground and crop.
