combining multiple flashes and blending layers

Hi all this is my first post here, so I it isn’t out of line :)
anyway I shoot interiors, and homes that are for sale mainly. Currently I use either multiple exposures and blend them eithir in photomatix or as layers in PS or I use multiple strobes but I am now tring to combine the two techniques and use flashes for fill along with exposure blending. I am wondering does anyone else use this?
how does it work for them?
what about bracketing?
what triggers are best?
