    These are lovely shots..with wonderful autumn colours.

    Great series of this little fella and also the Hedgehog in your other post, looks like you were on your belly to get these shots, well done. Judging from your exif data it looks like you used the 100mm Macro lens. Did you use ringflash to light these or some other lighting setup? ………Mikka

    Thanks for the comments. These guys are very tolerant and great to watch, amazing jumpers too! :shock:

    Mikka – I used a 580EX master flash on an off camera cord about 1.5m from the subject, angled down at 45deg, manual mode 1/2 +0.3 power, plus a 430EX slave on an old baby tripod, about 1m from subject, again down at 45deg, manual 1/4 power, fired wirelessly with wide angle filter flipped down. Camera in manual, ISO 250, 1/250s, f/8 – f/11. Used a bright LED bike light to light the area for focusing.

    By the way, how do get the exif data from the image? I tried right clicking on the image – then properties, but it’s not there. What’s the trick?
