Ok so I have a canon eos 20d which I have had for about five years and I have noticed that latey alot of the shots I take are coming out blured even some that where on a tripod.
Why would this be?? Is is something I am doing wrong or a problem with the camera???

    Thanks

I’d say more than likely the problem is possibly with your lens, but cannot be sure. If an element has shifted slightly in the lens, it will be slightly out of focus and may appear blurred. I’m assuming of course that it only happens with a particular lens. Camera shake due to low shutter speeds would be an obvious cause, but I assume that you know this anyway. If your lens has IS and you are using a tripod, this too can cause a slightly blurred image as IS is designed for handheld shots. The only other cause I can think of is if there was a problem with your sensor. I hope these suggestions might help you find the problem. Maybe the more experienced lads might know other causes.

I could be wrong but I would suspect that the problem is with the camera rather than the lens. The first thing to do is find someone with the same combination of camera/lens and swap and test yours against theirs. This should tell you where the problem lies. If the lens is the problem then the camera should detect that there’s a problem and indicate that it can’t focus when you try to take a picture. If the camera lets you take a blurred photo then I would suspect that the camera isn’t responding properly . . but I could be wrong.
