Rock Abstract

I spotted this rock while in Glendalough, and just liked the colours of it.
Not my usual thing so would be interested in any comments.
Hi Peter. I wouldn’t exactly be a rocker myself (as in, someone who’s into rocks), but I really like this. Fantastic colours and layering in the rock. I love the wavy effect too. Would look great as a big print in a gallery I think.

Great find Peter – really like this. As I said on flickr, it looks stronger with a single colour (black?) border/background.

I was sheltering from the rain under the large rock when Peter took this. It was near the upper carpark, as you start along the path on the right by the Upper Lake there is a building on the right of the path. Right beside that is a large rock overhanging the path….that’s the spot.

It has visual impact but also I wonder how it came to be.

Thanks for the comments folks, it was a lucky find and probably wouldn’t have noticed if it wasn’t for the rain.
Really uncanny resemblance to the scream Stephanie, so maybe I will print it and sell it, if only.
This months competition in the local club is Abstract, unfortunately i won’t be able to get this printed in time, which is a shame.
But a nice shot for the future.
