Amazing light phenomenon

saw this amazing light phenomenon over the past few days, Looks like the sun hitting the outer atmosphere , visible to the naked eye and not a filter reflection etc.
Anyone know what its called or what it is??
Would it be the same effect as a rainbow? Moisture in the clouds reacting
with the sun?Dont think it was the moisture as I saw the same effect over the town a couple of days ago, no rain……..
a partial halo or also known as “sun dogs” if you google sun dogs you can read about it
