was out taking a few pics when a wedding party pulled up. i took a few photos in the background which i thought very good. im not up on protocall so i didnt want to offend anyone by just sticking them up. i saw a comment by paddysnapper so i dont want to go down that road. any answers will help me. thanks guys and no offence intended
BallymanParticipantthe blue kangarooMemberPixelleMemberJust a thought as what do I know, but here goes.
In #1 I’d get rid of the people in the background, and try to choose a moment when the groom’s face was a bit more in shot.
#2, maybe move in closer, oops, that should be zoom in closer.
And try embedding your shots, they are a bit large.
They are a very photogenic group, no wonder you snapped away!F STOPParticipantShots are ok for a quick pic, but not good enough standard for a wedding, I know they were on a quick snap but they are not looking in your direction. The last one was ok has potential pitty the groom is looking dowm, sorry for critic but just being honest
bigalguitarpickerParticipantThese don’t look too bad for quick shots at all. They could possibly be a bit sharper, maybe that’s compression for online viewing, or maybe you didn’t sharpen them? Exposure looks fine with detail visible in the dresses. I think you could improve them by cloning out the people in the background and also the red fence. As F Stop says, they’re not looking at you, but they’re not supposed to be are they? I like the group pose, love to see that one from the official photographer’s viewpoint.

May I ask which “Road” I went down?
