5×4 equipment purchase – help!

Hi,
My daughter is in 2nd year of a photography degree and she needs the following for her large format brief:-
at least 2 5X4 double dark slides
Ilford 5×4 colour film
5×4 neg holdersCan anyone recommend where to buy the above on the net? We have tried 7DayShop, but, they are out of stock on the colour film and don’t supply the other two items. No problems with ordering from eBay, but, would prefer recommendations from you guys! Also, can anyone recommend where to buy 1.5m of heavy dark cloth for use with the large format camera in the studio?

Gunns can sell you the film,
or you can get it at http://www.silverprint.co.uk among other places-The darkslides come up often on ebay, used, they’re not expensive-
look for the plastic tabbed Fidelity Elite, or Lisco Regal, or Toyo brands,
and look at the pictures-Dark cloth-
you can get blackout blind material from Trimmings at the Halfpenny Bridge-
it’s actually white, but light tight-
I think it’s about €11/m, 60″wide, so a meter should be enough-
you can line the interior with any black lining cloth, if you like-http://www.ffordes.com usually sells double dark slides. I used Fidelity Elite and Riteway, preferred the latter. They cost about €15 each, but I found five for €40 on ffordes earlier this year. You can ask Gunns, maybe you get lucky and they have holders for sale.

The dark slides I can help you with for a while. I have a few that I can spare for a while if you’re stuck and you can return them when you manage to get your own set. I don’t have any film though but you should be able to pick some up at http://www.calumetphoto.co.uk or http://www.robertwhite.co.uk or http://www.silverprint.co.uk
They would also be able to supply the neg holders. I have bought stuff from all of above on previous occasions and have found them reliable and Calumet have got me out of a hole on a few occasions, they are fast, reliable and good value.
Let me know if you want to borrow the darkslides and we can organize something, I work on the North Side so we should be able to work out something if you need,David
I just realize, I have two boxes of Fuji 160S in the fridge, bought them this year, they are fresh. You can have the two for €20 if you want.
i can loan your daughter the dark slides needed she could have any two of the following that i have, 2 FIDELITY ELITE 4X5 FILM HOLDERS or 3 RITEWAY 4X5 FILM HOLDERS also check out stage lighting centre on pearse street for black fire proof drapage, on a different note randomway if the film is for sale and not taken by our young photog student friend I’d be wiling to bite your hand off for that price :D
Thanks Dermot. I already got a PM from JB7, he wants to swap the films for a portrait of me… very tempting, I would love to see a large picture of myself in the living room.
I have some Ilford Delta 100, 50 or 100 sheets I think… I should sell those as well, they are not needed anyway.
