Gorgeous shot – focus on the eyes is spot on. Did you apply blur to the background in PS or is that due to good control of DOF?
Orla.Great focus on the eyes and a lovely smile. I think maybe a lower shooting angle may have been better as you would have been at eye level, but then again, maybe not.

Martin; Lighting is a window about 14 or 16 foot to camera right.
NFL; I think her face shows all the traits of the “little girl from the country” ….. which she is incidentally
Orla; Blur is from the Lens. It was shot in in relatively low light at F2.5 1/125sec ISO 160. The lens is fantastic in low light – it’s the canon 85MM F1.2L. You need to be very careful though when using it at anything below F2.5 as the DOF is minimal.
Miki G; The room that she was in was very cluttered so I actually stood on a chair looking down at her so the floor was the background. I thought it complimented her colors and led her to open her eyes a bit more.
