Upgrade for Canon EF-S 17-85mm…

  Hello all,

  I’m thinking of upgrading my 17-85mm as it seems to my inexperienced eye to lack sharpness, contrast and saturation.

  Is there a better Sigma available or would I have to go with Canon L glass? The Canon EF 24-70 f/2.8L looks like a great lens but the price
  is a bit crazy!

  Canon EF 24-105mm F4L IS USM is supposed to be a really good lens, I saw one for sale second hand a few weeks ago

  Thanks Brian. Where did you see the 24-105? There’s a 24-70 on adverts.ie for €1050!!! He’ll be lucky!

  there is one here for just over 700 in the for sale section, I am interested in buying it but I don’t know if I can at the moment. you can buy them new from a shop from 1k in the south or about 940 up north and online from the UK for about 840
