  Have my dslr for 18mths now and feel that 90% of my photos are either bog standard or complete garbage!

  This one, however, I do like. Straight from the camera, no pp…….is there anything I could do to make it better?

  This is a lovely shot. I think the eyes could be a bit sharper though.

  Suggested digital touchups would be
  1) Increase saturation and clarity in the iris
  2) You could tidy up the few stray hairs around the hairline
  3) Clone the small scratch on the chin

  Hi,

  I think the image could benefit from a crop to the rh side.

  Unfortunately, her eyes are very soft on my screen and as Mark mentioned, they could do with some sharpening and clarity. It looks like the focus has locked in on her hair (just above forehead) leaving other areas soft.

  Wouldn’t call this a garbage image by any means and keep persevering!
