Cullenstown Strand Sunset

    This was taken in Cullenstown strand in Wexford. Im really trying to take better lanscape shots so i will be putting up a few. Any advice would be greatful.

    Exposure: 2.5 Seconds
    Aperture: f14
    Camera: Canon 400D
    Lens: Sigma 10-20mm
    Filters: ND Grad

    Welcome to the site and I hope you enjoy being a member.

    This is a really nice image and as has been said a very good
    one to start with.
    l like the colours in the sky.

    If it were mine I probably might have cropped out the
    rock jutting in at the bottom of the frame but that is
    just a personal opinion.

    Well done and I look forward to seeing more.

    Lovely photo John. There is great detail in that second bit rock – limpets etc.

    What strength of ND Grad did you use. Was it a hard or soft transition.

    Thanks all for the comments, i fear its all downhill from here, this is one of my favourite shots. 5faythe, your right about the cropping i must do that, that rock doesnt really belong. Mark, im not a hundred percent sure on the Grad, pretty sure i used my Cokin p120, hard transition filter. Thanks for all the comments and suggestions. Definitely more to come.
