Anyone familiar with a Karoron folding camera

  Hi.
  My wife was left a lot of camera equipment, including some old ones and I am having trouble opening one of the folding ones.
  It is a Kororon and can be seen as 6th in the list on the following link:-

  There is a small metal flap on the front which lifts up and seems to push back against a spring when vertical, but it doesn’t fold out. I don’t want to force it in case it gets damaged.

  Is there a trick to opening this or is there likely to be a fault somewhere.

  Any suggestions?

  There is also another one which is not in great condition and will not open either. The size would suggest it may be in the region of a 5×4. Can anyone identify make or model of this one?
