HDR spotting invite

Hi All, happy new year to everyone…

The HDR spotting website requires an invite to register. I was wondering if anyone on here is into HDR photography, and if so, would have an invite to spare?

Never heard of that one Stig. Where is it?

There’s a link to a Panoramic HDR I did a couple of months ago if you’re interested.
    Alex.

Found it! And boy is there some brutal looking stuff in there. The absolute worst seems to be in a column entitled “Editor’s Picks”? To be fair, a lot of it works OK as Graphic Imaging, but in all honesty it’s the sort of over-boiled stuff that got HDR its bad reputation.

Don’t have an invite, but maybe if you poke your head in and around http://www.stuckincustoms.com you
may find someone with one to spare.

In any case, good luck tracking down an invite, and look forward to potentially seeing some of your
HDR work here in the future. I had the same reaction as Al to HDR at first, but find it’s grown on me
    a lot,

Ha! Did you notice my phrase at the bottom of my last post? “Moved the slider too far? Who?? Me???” I’ve overboiled plenty of HDRs in my time! The overdone ones can indeed look first class as graphic images I think and I quite like many of them.

Here’s a Flickr group of which I’m a member and you’ll see plenty of excess in here! I particularly like using HDR technique in situations where I’d otherwise be using graduated filters. I find it much quicker to set my camera to bracket my exposures, in fact since I started using HDR, I haven’t had a graduated filter out of my bag.
Tried to add a couple of examples, but gave up. Tried to copy and paste flickr locations but got messages saying the file size couldn’t be established, then I tried to upload from my own PC but found 100Kb is max size allowed and mine are above that.
