Lake view, Emo Court

A view across the lake at Emo Court today, 01 Jan 2010. The lake itself is frozen solid, the white expanse you see in the centre between the rushes in front and the far side vegetation. I thought this view was nice because of the light across the lake and the blue sky. In hindsight maybe I should have chosen a higher viewpoint when composing but here it is anyway. Mikka, you captured a lovely scene here, the colours are great and I really like the blue sky. I think you’re right about a higher vantage point, maybe a retake is in order. Also I think if possible I would like to see more of the lake on the RHS.
