  Hi All,
  Just waiting to take delivery of my fancy new 70-200 vr ii, any one else got one and share some thoughts on it?

  Hey Guy’s,
  Don’t have the 70-200vr, this is my venture in to this lens, but I know that the lens doesn’t have the 3 little focus lock buttons on this version, reading comparison tests on the interweb seem mixed, will let you guys know how I get on.

  A good review of the lens went online yesterday on PDN (click here to read it), but there seems to be a problem with peeling of the thread inside the lens (as reported on NikonRumors).

  This is something I will have to keep my on!!! I just got the lens yesterday and couldn’t be happier with it, I feel safe in the knowledge that I bought it in Dublin’s best photo shop (and cheapest) so at the first sign of peeling, back it go’es,

  I went out on the street last night to see how it performs in low light, bright blue skies at 1130 pm!!
