Frozen lake & Slieve Snacht – reworked mono added

Took a run out yesterday lunch time to get my first shots of the snow proper…
More or less the same image processed 3x different ways –
Original (a little “warm” perhaps)
Mono attempt
And finally a more mucked around with copy
Not sure if any of them work really, but I’m more inclined towards the last one as it’s the most “different”
What do you think ?
I think you took the shot at the wrong time of day, with soft morning or evening light this would be an excellent shot. It has foreground interest and also a nice background.
BTW, I agree the third image is the best of the three presented.

Hi, I’d go with the mono version if you could you a lot more burning in around the sky, the conversion hasn’t helped the image, you have some info in the image and needs more work, well done for getting out there and taking the shots.

I agree, but it’s dark before I start work and no time when I’ve finished :( This was the only opportunity I had ! I’m still working on some shots from this so more to come maybe….
